Dr. Brett Osborn, Neurology

Dr. Brett A. Osborn

DO, FAANS, CSCS

Board-Certified Neurosurgeon

Dr. Osborn is a Board-Certified (ABNS) Neurosurgeon currently serving as the Section Chief of Neurosurgery at St. Mary’s Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Osborn received his doctorate (D.O.) in 1996 at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (now Midwestern University) and subsequently completed a 7-year residency at New York University (NYU) Medical Center under the auspices of renowned neurosurgeon, Dr. Patrick Kelly. By virtue of his hybrid training, Dr. Osborn has been exposed to osteopathic and allopathic philosophies and champions non-operative treatment strategies, exhausting all conservative measures prior to recommending surgery. This holistic approach carries over into his Longevity Medicine practice, Senolytix, the underpinning of which is health optimization and the prevention of age-related diseases such as spinal arthritis. According to Dr. Osborn, Senolytix is the incarnate of his 2014 book Get Serious.

Dr. Osborn has been in private practice since 2003. During his first fifteen years in clinical practice, he performed thousands of elective and emergent surgical procedures on both the brain and spine. Since 2018, however, Dr. Osborn has dedicated his efforts towards the management of neurosurgical trauma patients. He routinely performs craniotomies for severely head-injured patients and complex spine surgery for unstable cervical, thoracic and lumbar fractures. Dr. Osborn is available for elective consultations (or second opinions) upon request.
